Goals...

This is my first week of officially being on "on call" status at work. I work one day a week, which has been such a refreshing, needed change for me. Hence, I have made new goals for myself - The one I am enlisting you as my family, is the motivational support to become healthier! I started out by making Ric a bet who could achieve their goal first. His was to GAIN 6 lbs, mine was to LOSE >15 lbs. So, we would go to the gym together and afterward I would be eating my salad and rice cake, while he stuffed his face with a hamburger and shake. Not the right kind of motivation for me...
I have successfully worked out 5 days in a row and eaten a heart smart diet. I even bought a ab chair, which has been great for my back while trying to tighten the 'ol abs (I know they're in there somewhere). The plan is to blog a weekly update on the progress, while you comment how proud you are of me and that I look great :)

3 lbs., but I'm here in Boston and it's really hard to resist the Italian food, corned beef sandwich I had today. I'm still exercising though!

Well, if you win...you may at some point attract a wife. If I win, you get the priviledge of taking care of me when I live to be 100+
Better start stocking up on the Depends.

who's winning now? i think i'm gonna loose ten pounds after the Pre-Ranger Course that starts the 9th and goes for two weeks. I'm gonna look like an Ethiopian this summer: lean, mean, and only running on steam.

I believe, I am winning because all Ric has gained is a gut.
I would never bet you with you 3% body fat. Are you going to look like an Ethiopian because you will have more than a farmers tan, or because you will be all spindly thin with a pop belly?
