Dad & Ric loaded the car and made the drive to BYU-I on Saturday to get Ric situated. Glancing in the back of the car I saw a tennis racket, volleyball, guitar heroes, Nintendo, ski's...hopefully, Ric will get some studying in!
I already miss him, even though I didn't see too much of him throughout the summer with all his socializing and working.
Dad said there are approx. 90+ women and 40+ men in Ric's ward. No wonder his apartment received 3 different dinner invitations Sunday night. At least he won't have to do a lot of cooking if he plays his cards right.
It's nice having Lani & Randi here...my babies. They are quite fun and get along pretty well for the most part. The other night I told Randi there was an Almond Joy in the cupboard she could have. Lani jumps up and says, " I LOVE Almond Joys!" (She's never liked coconut, so I thought this was strange). Anyway, of course a battle ensued with them fighting over who will get the candy bar. There was screaming, yelling, wrestling, Lani even ended up losing some hair over the struggle. After Randi triumphantly brings the candy bar downstairs, Lani looks at it and says, "Oh... I thought you said Almond Roca, I hate Almond Joys". Yeah, welcome to my world.
